COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS 2026

Promoter

1. The promoter is Gold Coast Football Club Limited (ABN 47 144 555 822), of People First Stadium, 296 Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara QLD 4211 (“Promoter” or “GCFC”).

Eligibility

1. Entry is open to GC SUNS Members 2026/27
2. Entrants under 18 years of age must have parental/guardian approval.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and associated agencies are ineligible.

Promotion Period

1. The competition commences on Monday 31st of August 2026 at 5pm AEST and closes on Wednesday, 16th of December 2026 at 5pm

How to Enter

1. Eligible Entrants must update their details and then complete the digital link (survey or questionnaire) provided via official communications from the Gold Coast SUNS.
2. The survey was created internally and is there to confirm members have checked their details

Judging Criteria

1. The prize winner will be selected at random.
2. This will take place on Thursday, 17th of December at 9.00am (AEST). The winner will be notified via email or phone within 24 hours. 

Prize Details

1. One (1) prize will be awarded: a $500 Coles Voucher + $500 Shell Voucher
2. The prize is valued at $1000 AUD.

Notification of Winner

1. The prize winner will be notified via phone call within 24 hours of the selection to organise the claiming of their prize. The result of the draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners name will be published on www.goldcoastfc.com.au from the day that the prize winner is selected

Prize Conditions

1. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. If unclaimed after 3 months, a redraw will occur at the original draw location. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal value if unavailable.

General Conditions

1. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any entries (and entrants who submit or cause those entries to be submitted) which it reasonably suspects have been submitted:
   1. using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information;
   2. through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts; and/or
   3. through the suspected use of artificial intelligence, bots, automated systems or other technology to generate multiple identities, accounts or entries; and/or
   4. in any way in contravention of these Terms and Conditions
3. The Promoter may cancel, suspend, or modify the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.
4. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. Prize winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including without limitation a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize
6. By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law
7. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, Eligible Entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
9. Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference in these terms or in any advertisement relating to this competition, to Australian dollars, dollars, AUD$ or $ is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia. All references to dollar amounts are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

1. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the GCFC Privacy Policy: https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/privacy. By entering, you consent to the use of your details for promotional and marketing purposes.

Governing Law

1. This competition is governed by the laws of Australia.
