MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- INTRODUCTION
1.1 Constitutional Documents
All Gold Coast Football Clubs members are bound by the Constitution and any related documents of the Gold Coast Football Club Ltd ACN 144 55 822 (Club / we).
1.2 Application of these Terms & Conditions
In addition, the membership Terms and Conditions of the Gold Coast Football Club (Terms & Conditions) apply to all our:
- Club AFL Memberships for the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season; and
- Club AFLW Memberships for the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season.
By purchasing a Club Membership (including a renewal), you as a Member agree to these Terms & Conditions (including the Members Code of Conduct) which form an agreement between the Club and you and any other documents, policies, procedures or rules approved by the Club from time to time.
- PURCHASE, TERM & RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
2.1 Submission of application
You must complete and submit a Club Membership Application for the purchase or renewal of any Club Membership (except for a Club Membership as a Life Member).
2.2 Acceptance of application
If you are successful in your Club Membership Application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation for the relevant Club Membership Fee electronically within 7 Business Days.
The payment by any Member of their Membership Fee will confirm their agreement to be bound by this constitution and the policies, procedures and Codes of Conduct of the Club that apply to Members.
2.3 Rejection of application
The Club has the absolute right to refuse any membership application
- Commencement and Term of Club Membership
Your Club Membership commences on the date of receipt by the Club of your Club Membership Fee and ends on 31 August 2026, unless suspended or terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (Term).
2.5 Renewal of Club Membership
Members may renew their Club Membership in accordance with the instructions of the Club.
For Members who have agreed to the instalment Plan under clause 7, their Club Membership will automatically renew for the following year (provided that the Club has provided the Member with written notice in accordance with clause 7.6/7.8) unless they opt out under clause 7.7.
2.6 Payment Plan
For member who have opted to undertake a payment plan, a membership fee will have been deemed to be paid if all payments under that plan are up to date.
3. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & PACKAGES
Subject to the Corporations Act, the Board in its absolute discretion has the right to
establish other classes of membership, or vary existing classes of membership, from
time to time[1]
3.1 Club Membership categories/packages and benefits
Members can access the available Membership Packages via this link
A Club Membership package with completed membership form will also give members a ‘class of membership’ as per clause 3.2.
3.2 Classes of Membership
Relevant membership rights are as set out in the Club’s constitution.
3.3 AFL Club Support Members
AFL Club Support Members with an AFL Gold Membership must purchase tickets to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final through the AFL Membership on-sale and are not able to register in the Club’s ballot for tickets to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final (Grand Final Ballot).
AFL Club Support Members with an AFL Silver Membership are able to register in the Club’s Grand Final Ballot using their AFL Silver Membership. However, any Member who does so will forfeit their right to purchase in the AFL Membership
4. GRAND FINAL
The following Club Memberships include the guaranteed opportunity to purchase a ticket to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final subject to the Club’s AFL team participating in the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final:
- Premiership Circle (Level 1, 2 and 3)
- Sundeck Membership
- September Sun Product (*)
- Inner Sanctum Product (*)
- Sundeck Membership
The Premiership Circle and Sundeck Club Membership can only guarantee you the opportunity to purchase a ticket based on the priority given to participating Clubs.
The opportunity for purchase is guaranteed as part of the priority classification. The member is required to undertake actions to purchase these via available links that will be provided by the Gold Coast Suns.

Premiership Circle members who add an Inner Sanctum product to their existing membership package receive 1 (one) additional Grand Final guarantee opportunity
5. NO ONSELLING/TRANSER OF MEMBERSHIP
5.1 Prohibition on transfer
Subject to clauses 5.4 and 5.5 or obtaining the prior written consent of the Club, Club Membership and associated benefits under the Club Membership and Reserved Seat tickets are for personal use only and may not be lent, transferred or sold to another person under any circumstances. For example, Club Membership and Reserved Seat tickets must not be:
- advertised for sale or on-sold to another person (including via on-line auction sites or unauthorised reseller sites);
- used for advertising, promotion, fundraising or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions); or
- used to enhance the demand for other goods or services of a person or business, either by the original purchasing Member or any subsequent bearer.
5.2 Breach of transfer prohibition
If a Member breaches clause 5.1:
- the Club reserves its rights to suspend or terminate the Member’s Club Membership without a refund under clause 12; and/or
- the Reserved Seat ticket may be cancelled without a refund, and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
5.3 Verification of identity
Members are obliged to show their identification to verify their identity if requested by staff of the Venue or the Club on a game day.
This may be inclusive of government-based identification or proof of purchase of Club Membership.
5.4 Lease of Reserved Seat
The Club may from time to time implement a program to enable Members to lease their Reserved Seats to other nominated persons for a specified game during the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (Lease Your Seat Program).
Members who participate in the Lease Your Seat Program must comply with the terms and conditions specified by the Club for the Lease Your Seat Program.
5.6 Forward of Reserved Seat
Reserved Seat Members may forward their Reserved Seats to other nominated persons for a specified game during the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season subject to any terms and conditions specified by the Club or a Ticket Agent.
6. AFL MEMBER UPGRADES8
6.1 AFL Members
AFL Members may nominate an AFL Club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to the Club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to the Club Membership Fulfilment Package and access to the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series. AFL Members who have nominated the Club may purchase a Reserved Seat Membership upgrade.
6.2 Auskick Junior and SuperKick Members
Auskick Junior and Superkick Members may nominate an AFL Club of choice and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to the Club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to the Club Membership Fulfilment Package and access to the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series. Auskick Junior and Superkick Members who have selected the Club will receive General Admission access to 4 AFL home games.
7. PAYMENT
7.1 Payment options
Payment up front or via direct debit. You must pay your Club Membership Fee either by :
- Yearly Payment Plan : upfront payment in full
- Yearly Payment Plan – Direct Debit : direct debit in full
- Monthly Payment Plan : monthly installations
7.2 Yearly Payment Plan Upfront
Gold Coast Suns Yearly Payment Plan Upfront will be deducted from your nominated credit card.
By signing up to this plan you authorise the Gold Coast Suns to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated /credit card
7.3 Yearly Payment Plan Direct Debit
Gold Coast Suns Yearly Payment Plan Upfront will be deducted from your nominated credit card/bank account
By signing up to this plan you authorise the Gold Coast Suns to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated bank account/credit card
7.4 Monthly Payment Plan
Your membership fee can be paid via monthly instalments via Credit Card
Monthly payments will be deducted in twelve (equal) instalments on the 15th day of each month.
By signing up to this plan you authorise the Gold Coast Suns to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated bank account/credit card
7.6 Automatic renewal
For all Members who are on the Yearly Payment Plan – Direct Debit (7.1 b) or the Monthly Payment Plan (7.1 c), they authorise the Club to automatically renew their Club Membership for the following year and debit the relevant Club Membership Fee, in accordance with the Yearly Payment Plan- Direct Debit and Pay Payment Plan for the following year.
7.7 Opt out of automatic renewal
Subject to clause 10, Members may opt out of the XXX Payment Plan prior to their first instalment payment for the following year as communicated by the Club in writing by notifying the Membership Team either in writing or via email - membership@goldcoastfc.com.au.
All outstanding payments must be completed at the time of opting out. Where notice is received by the Club prior to the first instalment payment for the following year, there will be no automatic renewal of the Club Membership.
7.8 Automatic renewal reminder and any changes to terms and fees
Members will be given at least 30 days' notice in writing (i.e. by email, sms or mail) of the automatic renewal of Club Membership(s) under Yearly Payment Plan – Direct Debit (7.1 b) or the Monthly Payment Plan (7.1 c) for the following year.
In particular, the Club will advise of any changes in the Club Membership entitlements, the amount of their Club Membership Fee and these Terms & Conditions for the following year.
7.9 Other payment terms
If a payment date falls on a day which is a weekend of a public holiday, the payment will be deducted on the next Business Day.
If any payment under the listed Payment Plans fails to transfer between institutions on the relevant payment date, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund.
7.10 Bank fees
If your payment plan payment is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, the Club will contact you requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable to you.
7.11 Account details
It is your responsibility to ensure that:
- the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the Tiger Pay Payment Plan; and
- you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled payment date.
8. Suspension, termination or cancellation
8.1 By the Club
The Club may suspend or terminate your Club Membership if, on 2 consecutive occasions, your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution.
We will provide you with reasonable prior written notice of any suspension or cancellation of your Club Membership, including your Payment Plan.
Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your Club Membership, once the correct payment is received.
8.2 By Members
During the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season, a Member on Payment Plan may at any time suspend or cancel their payments which will suspend or cancel the Club Membership by contacting the Membership Team on (07 5510 6000) and putting their request in writing to membership@goldcoastfc.com.au.
8.3 No game access
If your Club Membership is suspended or terminated, you will not be able to gain access to any games via your Club Membership during the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (and the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series) or the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season (and the 2026 NAB AFLW Finals Series).
8.4 Withdrawal error
If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Membership Team on (07) 5510 6000. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for withdrawing.
9. GST AND LEVIES
Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable levy charged by the Venue.
10. TERMINATION BY MEMBER, REFUNDS AND FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS
10.1 General Policy
Subject to this clause and a person’s rights at law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Club Membership Fees are non-‑refundable.
10.2. Change of mind cancellation and refunds/Cancellations for change of mind
A person may terminate their Club Membership at any time due a “change of mind” by notifying the Club in writing or cancelling their Payment plan
10.3 Refunds
Requests for refunds following a Change of Mind Cancellation must be made in writing to the Club membership@goldcoastfc.com.au.
Subject to clause 10.1, any refunds of Club Membership Fees are at the sole discretion of the Club. However, no refund will be issued by the Club for:
- a Change of Mind Cancellation of AFL Club Memberships made by a Member after Round 10 of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season; or
- a Change of Mind cancellation of:
- Non-Access Club Memberships (listed in clause 3.1.6); and
- Club Memberships with single game access (listed in clause 3.1.5); or
- a Change of Mind cancellation as a result of the Club changing the Terms & Conditions under clause 20.1.
10.4 Termination of AFL Club Memberships - Administration Fees
Should a refund be granted by the Club under this clause 10.3 the following Administration Fees will be payable by the Member depending on the timing of the cancellation of the AFL Club Membership. If a person cancels their AFL Club Membership under this clause:
- before the beginning of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and has not redeemed their Fulfilment Package, the Administration Fee is $35.00;
- before the beginning of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and has redeemed their Fulfilment Package, the Administration Fee is $50.00; or
- after the commencement of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, but before Round 10 of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the Administration Fee is calculated as $50.00 plus a fee of $25 per game attended by the Member during the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season up to the date of cancellation of the AFL Club Membership; and
the Club may retain any actual costs incurred by the Club for the delivery of any events, items or other benefits included in their AFL Club Membership (eg seating or hospitality upgrades, training sessions, coaches’ briefings, guest passes, merchandise etc) (Additional Costs) which were received by the Member prior to the cancellation of their AFL Club Membership.
The Club will offset any Administration Fees or Additional Costs against the relevant refund amount that is payable to the Member.
10.5 Termination of AFLW Club Memberships - Administration Fees
Should a refund be granted by the Club under this clause 10.3, the following Administration Fees will be payable depending on the timing of the cancellation of the AFLW Club Membership. If a person cancels their AFLW Club Membership under this clause:
- before the beginning of the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season and has not redeemed their Fulfilment Package, the Administration Fee is $35.00;
- before the beginning of the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season and has redeemed their Fulfilment Package, the Administration Fee is $50.00; or
- after the commencement of the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season, but before Round 5 of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the Administration Fee is calculated as $50.00 plus a fee of $10 per game attended by the Member during the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season up to the date of cancellation of the AFLW Club Membership.
10.6 Force Majeure Event
Impact of Force Majeure Events
If the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and/or the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season is suspended, modified or cancelled and/or the patron capacity at Venues is limited or modified due to any Force Majeure Event which results in Members having reduced or varied game access, subject to law, the Club may provide appropriate substitute benefits of equal value to the benefits impacted by the Force Majeure Event to the Member as determined by the Club acting reasonably or offer an alternative remedy to the Member as determined by the Club acting reasonably.
The Club will offset any Administration Fees or Additional Costs against the relevant refund amount that is payable to the Member.
11. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION BY THE CLUB FOR BREACH
11.1 Breach by a Member
The Club reserves its right to suspend (for a period reasonably determined by the Club) or terminate a Member's Club Membership without a refund where that member has breached a material term of these Terms & Conditions.
If the Club suspends or cancels a Member’s Club Membership, the Club will not be liable to that member for any claim or loss.
12. EFFECT OF SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
12.1 Club Memberships
If a Club Membership is:
- terminated for any reason under these Terms & Conditions then all benefits provided under their Club Membership will immediately cease, and any Consecutive Membership will also immediately cease; or
- suspended for any reason under these Terms & Conditions, then all benefits provided under the Club Membership will be suspended during the relevant suspension period.
13. CLUB MEMBERS CODE OF CONDUCT
Members must comply with the Club’s Members’ Code of Conduct which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
The Club is committed to maintaining a safe, enjoyable, inclusive, and family-friendly environment in relation to all of its activities. In order to protect the image and reputation of the Club, the Constitution of the Club entrusts the Club’s Board with the responsibility to establish a Members Code of Conduct.
Accordingly, the Club has adopted the following Code of Conduct for the benefit of its members, supporters, and the wider AFL community. In accordance with the Constitution, Members are bound by this Code of Conduct and if found to be in breach, may face disciplinary action (including termination of their Club Membership).
14. REPORT ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
The Club encourages its Members to report any anti-social behaviour through the following channels:
- People First Stadium – 0467 877 678
- MCG - SMS the Section, Row and Seat along with the behaviour witnessed to 0409 117 621;
- Marvel Stadium – SMS the Aisle, Row and Seat/s along with the behaviour witnessed to 0427 767 768;
- Club Events – inform RFC officials at the event; and
- Social media – email membership@goldcoastfc.com.au
15. GENERAL VENUE RULES
15.1 Comply with rules of Venues
Members must adhere to all conditions of entry, rules and restrictions imposed by the Venues (or the AFL) attended by the Member (Venue Rules) including the following:
All Venues are smoke and vape -free. Members are not permitted to smoke or vape anywhere in the Venue; and
Members are not permitted to bring alcohol into any Venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all Venues.
15.2 Health and safety
You acknowledge, even with rigorous capacity and control measures in place at games, there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness at a game and you have considered that risk and your own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that you may have or that of persons whom you will be in close contact with following your attendance at a game. By attending a game, you (and any persons who attend the game with you) acknowledge and accept these obvious risks.
16. VOTING RIGHTS
All Members who are 18 years and over and have the Club Memberships specified in clause 3.1.1 will receive full voting rights in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
17. PRIVACY COLLECTION NOTICE
17.1 Personal Information
Your privacy is important to the Club. Your personal information provided for the application and purchase of your Club Membership will be collected, used, and managed by the Club in accordance with this clause and our Privacy Policy.
The personal information may include your:
- full name;
- date of birth;
- gender;
- address;
- email address;
- phone number/s; and
- bank account information or debit / credit card information
We may also collect personal information of your immediate family members if provided by you for the purpose of linking family accounts. You must speak with your immediate family members and obtain their consent before providing their information to us.
17.2 How we collect your information:
We collect this personal information from:
- you directly either online via our Club Website or via telephone or in person.
- the AFL if you purchase a Club of Support Package from the AFL;
- the MCC if you purchase an RFC MCC Membership; or
- a person who purchases a Club Membership for you as a gift either online via our Club Website or via telephone or in person.
We may also collect additional non-personally identifiable information (for example, browser version, IP address), regarding your use of the Club Website and Club App.
17.3 Purposes of the collection and use of your personal information
The Club collects your personal information for the purpose of:
- processing and managing your Club Membership;
- providing you with the products and services of your Club Membership
- communicating with you about your Club Membership;
- verifying your identity during verbal communications with you about your Club Membership
- undertaking research and data analysis in order to improve our Club Memberships and your experience with us (eg through surveys, questionnaires and anonymised data matching with the AFL and our sponsors);
- promotional services relevant to your Club Membership;
- managing your Club Membership Fee and administer billing for your Club Membership;
- handling and responding to any requests or complaints made;
- our record keeping and reporting requirements.
17.4 Direct marketing and ‘opting out’
We may use your Personal Information for promotional; marketing and publicity purposes of the Club and you consent to us (or our third party providers acting on our behalf):
- communicating with you via email, SMS, social media or telephone to promote our Club Memberships, offers and promotions or other products and services (including advising you about other products and services that you may be interested in); and
- promoting the products and services of our sponsors through marketing campaigns coordinated by us via email, SMS, social media or telephone.
- You can always opt out of receiving such communications by either:
- clicking on the unsubscribe link or opt out code provided in the communication; or
- contacting the Club’s Privacy Officer at privacy.officer@goldcoastfc.com.au or a Club representative at membership@goldcoastfc.com.au.
17.5 Disclosure of your personal information
The Club may disclose your personal information to:
- our staff;
- our third-party service providers and advisors (including IT suppliers, third party storage providers, legal and financial advisors) the AFL), to assist the Club to fulfil the above purposes; or
- the AFL or law enforcement agency in the event of a breach of the Member Code of Conduct. The Club may also disclose your personal information if required by law.
17.6 What happens if you do not provide your personal information
If you choose not to provide us with certain personal information, then the Club may be unable to process your Club Membership or provide you with a relevant service or benefit under your Club Membership.
17.7 More information
The Privacy Policy contains further details regarding how the Club collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise handles your personal information including how you can access or correct your personal information; how you can opt out of receiving promotional or marketing communications; how you can make a privacy related complaint, and how that complaint will be dealt with; and the extent to which your personal information may be stored or disclosed overseas.
17.8 Consent
By applying for and purchasing a Club Membership, you agree and confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms of this clause and the Privacy Policy.
18. CLUB INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
18.1 Ownership of Club’s Intellectual Property
The Club is the owner and/or licensee of the Intellectual Property.
18.2 Prohibitions
Members must not use or represent that they have any right or title in, the Club’s Intellectual Property or any intellectual property that is substantially identical or deceptively similar to the Club’s Intellectual Property, for any purpose without the prior written approval of the Club.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF CLUB
19.1 Statutory rights as a consumer
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any right or remedy, or any warranty or guarantee which may be implied or imposed by any legislation (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited by agreement (including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law).
19.2 Limitation of liability
Subject to your rights at law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the Club’s liability for any claim, action, proceeding or dispute, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise under on in connection with these Terms & Conditions is limited to one or more of the following at the Club’s option:
- in the case of goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, or the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; or
- in the case of services, the supplying of the services again, or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
19.3 No indirect or consequential liability
The Club nor any of its directors, officers, employees or agents will not be liable to any Member for any special, indirect, or consequential damages (including damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business or loss of opportunity) arising from or in relation to their Club Membership and these Terms & Conditions.
20. VARIATION
20.1 Changes to Terms & Conditions
The Club may from time to time, where reasonably necessary or if required due to a change in law, change these Terms & Conditions. If the Club changes these Terms & Conditions, you will be bound by those changes, unless you choose to cancel your Club Membership under clause 11.2.
20.2 No increase of fees or changes of benefits
However, the Club represents that it will not during the Term:
- increase any of the Club Membership Fees during the Term; and/or
- remove or substantially vary any of the benefits associated with the relevant Club Membership during the Term unless expressly permitted to do so under these Terms & Conditions or with the prior consent of the Member.
20.3 Communication by Club
The Club will communicate any changes to these Terms & Conditions via the Club Website (and if considered necessary, via email to Members). Any changes to these Terms & Conditions are effective from the time of posting the Terms & Conditions on the Club Website.
21. SEVERANCE
Any clause of these Terms and Conditions will be read down to the extent necessary to prevent that clause or these Terms and Conditions being unlawful, invalid, void, or unenforceable. If it is not possible to read down a clause, any part of, or all of, the clause that is unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses continue in force.
22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in Victoria.
23. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
Definitions
The meanings of the terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows:
- 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season means an annual fixture of home and away football games between AFL Clubs as specified by the AFL, but excludes the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series;
- 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season means an annual fixture of home and away football games between AFL Clubs as specified by the AFL, but excludes the 2026 Nab AFLW Finals Series;
- 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series means the series of football games between the eight most successful AFL Clubs at the completion of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season as specified by the AFL, including the AFL Grand Final;
- 2026 NAB AFLW Finals Series means the series of football games between the eight most successful AFL Clubs at the completion of the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season as specified by the AFL, including the AFL Grand Final;
- Administration Fee has the meaning given to it in clause 11.2;
- AFL means the Australian Football League Ltd ACN 004 155 211;
- AFL Club means a football club which has the right of representation in the AFL Competition and the AFLW Competition;
- AFL Club Support Member means an AFL Member who has purchased a Club Support Package as part of their AFL Membership;
- AFL Competition means the premier’s men’s Australian Rules football competition conducted by the AFL and includes the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series;
- AFL Member means a person who has purchased an AFL Membership;
- AFL Membership means the rights and benefits applicable to the various membership categories specified by the AFL from time to time including gold (AFL Gold Membership), silver (AFL Silver Membership) and bronze levels of memberships, and may also involve the nomination of the Club as their AFL Club of support;
- AFLW Competition means the premier women’s Australian Rules football competition conducted by the AFL and includes the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season and the 2026 NAB AFLW Finals Series;
- Auskick Junior Member means a person who has purchased an Auskick Membership;
- Auskick Junior Membership means the rights and benefits applicable to the Auskick membership specified by the AFL from time to time, and may also involve the nomination of the Club as their AFL Club of choice;
- Australian Sports Foundation means Australian Sports Foundation Ltd ABN 27 008 613 858;
- Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the place where an act is to be performed;
- Club App means the Club’s online application;
- Club Membership means the rights of Ordinary Members, Life Members and Junior Members under the Club’s Constitution and the additional rights and benefits applicable to the membership category specified in clause 3 which include memberships associated with the AFL Competition (Club AFL Membership) and the AFLW Competition (Club AFLW Membership);
- Club Membership Application means the form prescribed by the Club to purchase a new Club Membership;
- Club of Support Package means either an AFL Membership or Auskick Junior Membership which involves the nomination of the Club as their AFL Club of support;
- Club Membership Fee means the fee payable for a Club Membership specified in clause 3;
- Club Website means www.goldcoastfc.com.au;
- Constitutional Documents means the Club’s Constitution and any by-laws created under the Club’s Constitution;
- Force Majeure Event means an event that is beyond the reasonable control of the Club, was not caused by an act or omission of the Club, and could not have been prevented, avoided, mitigated or remedied by the party taking steps a prudent and reasonable person would have taken in the circumstances and specifically includes:
- acts of God including fire, lightning, earthquake, explosions, flood, subsidence or other natural disaster;
- war, insurrection, civil disorder, military operations or acts of terrorism;
- strikes, lock outs, bans or industrial disputes of any kind;
- epidemics, pandemics, biological contamination or public health emergency or any resulting governmental action including mandatory business or workplace closures, work stoppages, full or partial lockdown, quarantines, border closures and travel restrictions; or
- acts, directives, orders, laws or regulations of any government or government agency or authority;
- Intellectual Property means all unregistered or registered trademarks, brand names, business names, copyright, designs and any other intellectual property relating to, or in association with, the Club and its operations;
- Junior Members has the same meaning as in the Club’s Constitution;
- Life Members has the same meaning as in the Club’s Constitution;
- Member / you means an Ordinary Member, Life Member and Junior Member;
- Members Code of Conduct means the Club’s Members Code of Conduct available at Member Code of Conduct
- Ordinary Members has the same meaning as in the Club’s Constitution;
- Privacy Policy means the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy available at https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/privacy, and as it may be updated from time to time;
- Ticket Agent means an official ticketing merchant for sale of tickets for games of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and the 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season;
- Term has the meaning given in clause 2.4;
- Suns Pay Payment Plans has the meaning given in clause 7.1;
- Venue means any stadium, facility or ground at which a game of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season or 2026 NAB AFLW Premiership Season is played or an event of the Club is operated, which includes the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Marvel Stadium; and
- Interpretation
- Unless the contrary intention appears:
- the singular includes the plural and vice versa, and words importing a gender include other genders;
- a reference to a statute, regulation or provision of a statute or regulation (Statutory Provision) includes all amended or re-enacted Statutory Provisions from time to time, all replacement Statutory Provisions and any other statutory instruments made or issued under that Statutory Provision;
- headings are for reference purposes only and must not be used when interpreting this Agreement;
- other grammatical forms of words or expressions have corresponding meanings;
- the words “including and “includes” are not words of limitation; and
- “$” or dollars is a reference to Australian dollars (AUD), unless otherwise stated.
