2026 Membership Competitions


SUN-Believable Competition:
November 2025

Entry Mechanic: 
All existing 2026 members are automatically entered into the draw.
Unrenewed Members simply need to renew their 2026 membership before midnight on Monday December 15, 2025 to enter the draw.
Non-members simply need to join as a 2026 member before midnight on Monday December 15 to enter the draw.
All entrants must be financially compliant. 

Competition Drawn:
The SUN-Believable competition will be drawn on Tuesday December 16. The winner of the competition will be contacted by phone and listed on the ‘competition winners’ page.

Prize Terms and Conditions:
The winner of the Sun-Believable competition can choose one of the 4 prizes stipulated as part of the SUN-Believable competition. 

Three Years Free Membership

• The Club agrees to refund any funds paid in full or towards your 2026 membership and renew the same product free of charge for the full 2026 season, 2027 season and 2028 season.
• The membership type must be renewed at the same or lesser value each season.

Ie: You cannot upgrade to a higher level of membership package between years.

• A note regarding the prize will be added to your membership account and honoured annually until the completion of the 2028 season.
• The member agrees to contact the Club by phone or email to renew their membership annually free of charge.
• Your membership will include all benefits and inclusions annually.
• Family Memberships cannot be redeemed. If an adult who holds a family membership wins the SUN-believable competition, the Club agrees to honour the prize against the adult component of the family membership.
  Ie: If you hold a Family (2 Adult and 2 Junior) membership and we draw one Adult as the winner – your family package price will be reduced by the individual Adult price of the same level of membership only. 

2 x Lounge Memberships for the 2026 Season

• The Club agrees to cover the cost of 2 x Gold Coast SUNS Lounge Memberships (Adult or Junior) for the 2026 Season only.
• Corporate memberships count towards your membership tenure and will not have an impact on your Reward & Recognition level – this will continue.

Day in the Life of a SUN

• The Day in the Life of a SUN prize will include a full rostered training day at SUNS Headquarters – The Austworld Centre, immersed amongst the action of players and football department staff for two people.
• With access to team meetings, training sessions and an exclusive tour of the facilities – you’ll be given the most behind the scenes experience on offer.
• The date and time of this prize will be stipulated by the Club and determined by their training schedule. The prize winner will be offered 2-3 dates to select from across the 2026 Pre-Season.

Darwin

• Prize includes 2 return domestic flights to Darwin from any state or territory in Australia and 3 nights twin share accommodation at the team hotel plus 2 tickets to one of our fixtured games at TIO Stadium in Darwin.
• Opportunity to attend the Club’s TIO Stadium training session pending your arrival into Darwin.
• One way travel with the team included – either on the departing or returning team flight. Flight dates and times are still TBC.
• Ability to extend the trip at your own expense. Accommodation at the team hotel will be subject to availability if a trip extension is requested.

The SUN-Believable competition T’s and C’s are subject to prize alterations based on football department schedules and rosters.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This promotion is called “$10K Member Giveaway” (“Promotion”).
2. The Promoter is GCFC Limited ACN 144 555 822, Level 2, 296 Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara, Queensland, 4211 (“Promoter”). People First Bank, a trading name of Heritage and People’s Choice Ltd ABN 11 087 651 125 of 400 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba QLD 4350. (HPC) is sponsoring the Promotion and supplying the associated prize. Any reference to the AFL refers to the Australian Football League (ABN 97 489 912 318).
3. By entering into this Promotion, each person (‘Entrant’, ‘you’) accepts and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
4. The Promotion is conducted in all Australian states and territories. The Promotion is authorised under the following permits: ACT Permit No. ACT TP 25/02991. SA Permit No. T25/2283 The Promotion is governed exclusively by the laws of Australia.
5. The Promotion commences on 15/12/2025 at 12:00pm AEST and closes 31/08/2026 at 5:00pm AEST (the “Promotion Period”).

Eligible Entrant

1. The Promotion is only open to individuals, during the Promotion Period, who:
   1. are Australian residents;
   2. are aged 18 years or over during the Promotion Period;
   3. are not office holders, employees or contractors of:
      1. HPC; or
      2. the Promoter; or
      3. any agencies or companies associated with the Prize; and
      4. including their immediate family members (“immediate family member” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent);
   4. have purchased an adult membership for the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season or the 2026 NAB AFLW Season for the Gold Coast SUNS AFL(W) team;
   5. have provided accurate and truthful answers to the Promoter’s questions, including their:
      1. first name;
      2. last name;
      3. email address;
      4. contact phone number;
      5. post code;
      6. opt into marketing communications with People First Bank and
      7. any additional information sought;,

(referred to as an ‘Eligible Entrant’).

Entry

1. An Eligible Entrant must elect to enter into the Promotion at the time of purchasing a membership for the SUNS during the Promotion Period.
2. An Eligible Entrant is only permitted to enter one (1) time into the Promotion. If multiple entries are received, only the first entry of the Eligible Entrant will be entered into the draw.
3. All Eligible Entrants have an equal chance of winning the Prize.
4. Completed entry forms must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any entries (and entrants who submit or cause those entries to be submitted) which it reasonably suspects have been submitted: (a) using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information; (b) through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts; and/or (c) in any way in contravention of these Terms and Conditions.
6. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, or those which contain offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, will be deemed invalid.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time during, or after the Promotion Period, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and not at the time of completion by the Eligible Entrant. Any cost associated with entering the Promotion is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility. 

Draw and Prizes

1. There will be only one (1) main Prize drawn in this Promotion and only one (1) Prize Winner in this Promotion.
2. The first valid entry drawn by an electronic random number generator at Austworld Centre, Level 1, 296 Nerang‑Broadbeach Rd, Carrara QLD 4211 on 04/09/2026 at 3:00pm (‘Draw’) will win the Prize (‘Prize Winner’).
3. The Prize consists of one (1) cash prize of AUD $10,000 (‘Prize’).
4. The Promoter will notify the Prize Winner that they have won the Prize via phone call and email within two (2) business days of the Draw to organise the claiming of the Prize. The result of the Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. The Prize Winner’s first initial, last name and postcode will be published on the Promoter’s social media pages/Promoter’s website from the day of the Draw.
6. In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted, and all methods of communication are unsuccessful, or a Prize Winner does not respond to the Promoter’s initial communications within three (3) months, a redraw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 04/12/2026 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing by email on the day of the selection and the winners’ first initial, last name and postcode will be published on the Promoter’s website https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/ on 07/12/2026. The Prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the Prize Winner.
7. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
8. If the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
   1. To disqualify any Eligible Entrant; or
   2. Subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
9. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or death; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion or accepting or using the prize.
10. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
12. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
13. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion any changes are subject to State Regulations.
14. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using the Eligible Entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
15. If due to any reason whatsoever the Promoter becomes aware after an Eligible Entrant has won the prize that the Eligible Entrant has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, that Eligible Entrant will have no entitlement to the prize, even if the Promoter has announced them as the winner and that Eligible Entrant will be required, at the direction of the Promoter, to return, refund or otherwise make restitution of the Prize.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this Promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, Eligible Entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
17. Eligible Entrants acknowledge that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or any other social media platform whatsoever. Any information provided as part of the Promotion is provided to the Promoter and not to the relevant social media platform. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions of any relevant social media platform’s terms and conditions. Eligible Entrants completely release any relevant social media platform from any and all liability in connection with this Promotion.
18. Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference in these terms or in any advertisement relating to this Promotion, to Australian dollars, dollars, AUD$ or $ is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia.  All references to dollar amounts are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).
19. All entries and materials submitted to the Promoter in connection with this Promotion (in any form including without limitation in hard copy or electronic form) become and remain the property of the Promoter and each Eligible Entrant warrants it has the right to transfer these things to the Promoter.   The Promoter may use such entries and materials and any intellectual property rights subsisting in them in any medium and in any manner it sees fit, including without limitation, by reproducing, modifying or adapting such entries and materials. The Promoter may collect Eligible Entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the Eligible Entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each Eligible Entrant also agrees that the Promoter, the Promoter's employees, related companies and agents, including but not limited to the AFL, may use this information, in any media for future promotional purposes, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Eligible Entrant, including sending the Eligible Entrant electronic messages and telephoning the Eligible Entrant.
20. All personal information you provide will be used by the Promoter in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at https://www.goldcoastfc.com.au/privacy and may be disclosed by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (including for promotional and marketing purposes).  By entering into the Promotion you indicate you have read and agree to be bound by the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
21. Where you consent to your information being shared with People First Bank, Heritage and People’s Choice Limited ABN 11 087 651 125 (HPC) trading as People First Bank deals with your personal information collected via this Promotion in accordance with the Heritage Bank Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy) in the same way as HPC trading as Heritage Bank. Any reference in the Privacy Policy to HPC means HPC trading as Heritage Bank and/or People’s Choice Credit Union and/or People First Bank (as the case may be). If a person does not provide their personal information, they can not participate in this competition.  HPC trading as People First Bank collects personal information from you and from third parties. Unless you ask us not to, we may also use your information for keeping you informed about products and services issued or distributed by HPC under its brands or its third party partners. We may disclose your personal information across all HPC brands and to other organisations including HPC’s external service providers and partners. 22. By entering this Promotion, and ticking the applicable box on the entry form, each entrant consents to the HPC contacting them. If an entrant does not wish to be contacted, they must not tick the box that indicates their consent.
